Mindfulness Based Stillness Meditation 4 Day Weekend Course

The Mindfulness Based Stillness Meditation 4 Day Weekend Course is an opportunity for participants to dive deep into self in a safe and supported environment. Over three days of theory and guided meditation, we explore five  steps: Preparation, Relaxation, Mindfulness, Awareness and Stillness. This course is a gradual approach into Mindfulness Based Stillness Meditation led by Melissa Borich. 

The course includes:

  • 3 nights accomodation in a tranquil setting — single and twin share options available.
  • 9 delicious organic vegetarian meals — individual dietary requirements catered for.
  • The five  steps into Mindfulness Based Stillness Meditation: Preparation, Relaxation, Mindfulness, Awareness into Stillness.
  • A gentle daily yoga class focussing on releasing tension in tight areas and encouraging relaxation.
  • Restorative Yoga postures, which encourage  Relaxation, Mindfulness, Awareness moving into Stillness
  • The atmosphere of a peaceful, private 80 acre property framed by trees and delightful views of mountain ranges.

Having  your own direct experience of these practices encourages one to trust their own innate wisdom that you can then continue to develop and explore on a regular daily basis. This course offers and shows you ways in which to have your own direct experience of Mindfulness, Awareness Meditation and Yoga.

There is the scientific research readily available on the benefits of Mindfulness, Meditation and Yoga, uplifting to read, learn and absorb — and perhaps you have read quite broadly on these topics.

Over Melissa’s many years of teaching, this course has been shared with students  that are new to meditation but also experienced meditators.

It’s a course that meets one where they are at; accessible, informative and life changing for some. The course is an uncomplicated  way to learn how to meditate; exploring  various relaxation techniques; to create a formal committed daily practice; and to bring Mindfulness — both formal and informal — into your daily moments and interactions with your self and others.

Accommodation:

The accommodation is twin share, unless a single room is requested.

Single rooms are available at an extra cost. En suite and without. Please contact Melissa if this is required as single rooms are limited.

Please arrive between 2.30pm – 3.30pm on Friday  as this gives you time to settle before the first class commencing at 4pm.

Massage: Available on request at extra cost.
