Guided Imagery  Meditation 4 Day Weekend Course 

 March 5th-8th 2027

Over four days we explore guided imagery, with our key focus being  in understanding how the mind works. Firstly we draw upon the five steps of the MBSMeditation approach: Preparation, Relaxation, Mindfulness, Awareness and Stillness. Meditation when practiced regularly, leads to an inner peace, mental clarity and a stability that supports the more active use of guided imagery.

 This course is experiential in it’s approach, but also  looks to increase the awareness of the theory behind the application of imagery and  to help build confidence in how to use guided imagery, not only in your meditation practice but bringing it into  your daily moments. 

This guided imagery  four day course is an opportunity for participants to dive deeply into learning  how the mind communicates using  imagery as it’s language.

Suitable for the beginner to the experienced or somewhere in between. Perhaps you feel like your practice needs a “refresher”, this is a wonderful opportunity to dive deep, in a safe and supported environment.

Led by Melissa Borich, a yoga therapist, meditation mentor, and  teacher trainer in this work  with over 20 years of teaching experience. 

The course includes:

  • 3 nights accomodation in a tranquil setting — single and twin share options available.
  • Delicious organic vegetarian meals — individual dietary requirements catered for where possible.
  • Touching on the five  steps into Mindfulness Based Stillness Meditation: Preparation, Relaxation, Mindfulness, Awareness into Stillness.
  • Exploring the five applications of Imagery
  • A gentle daily yoga class focussing on releasing tension in tight areas and encouraging relaxation.
  • Restorative Yoga postures, which encourage  Relaxation, Mindfulness, Awareness moving into Stillness
  • The atmosphere of a peaceful, private 80 acre property framed by trees and delightful views of mountain ranges.

  • A prerequisite for this programme is that you arrive on time for the first session, and stay for the completion of the course.

Having  your own direct experience of these practices encourages one to trust their own innate wisdom that you can then continue to develop and explore on a regular daily basis. This course offers and shows you ways in which to have your own direct experience of Imagery, Mindfulness, Awareness Meditation and Yoga, and how to bring these practices into your daily moments.

There is the scientific research readily available on the benefits of Mindfulness, Meditation and Yoga, uplifting to read, learn and absorb — and perhaps you have read quite broadly on these topics, but to experience them directly yourself  over these 4 days, is most encouraging and helpful  to form a daily meditation practice.  

Over Melissa’s many years of teaching, this course has been shared with students  that are new to meditation but also experienced meditators.

It’s a course that meets one where they are at, accessible informative and life changing for some. We explore the five applications of Imagery, Inner peace, Positive Thinking, Personal transformation, Accelerated Healing and Spiritual Development. The course is an uncomplicated  way to learn how to meditate, exploring  various  techniques; to create a formal committed daily practice, and to bring Guided Imagery  into your daily practice.

The accommodation is twin share, unless a single room is requested.

Single rooms are available at an extra cost. En suite and without. Please contact Melissa if this is required as single rooms are limited.

Please arrive 10.00am on Friday as this gives you time to settle in before the first class commences at 11.00am.
